Need an Ekornes Repair specialist?
Ekornes produces some of the longest lasting, most durable recliners and sofas in the world. Unfortunately, with time, natural wear and tear can cause problems with any piece of furniture.
The great thing about high quality material and construction, however, is that wear and tear does not necessarily imply the end of your furniture’s lifespan. Because all components of Ekornes furniture are high quality, most issues can be solved through part replacement or repair.
Check your warranty
Ekornes believes in the quality of their furniture—which is why they offer one of the best warranties in the industry. Before taking any course of action, you should check to see if your Ekornes warranty is still valid. Below you will find the basics of Ekornes’ regular warranty.
- The internal mechanism is covered for 10 years. This includes the Plus spring system, the metal frame, and the gliding system.
- The base is covered for 5 years. This includes the wooden base, the swivel ring, and all foam and/or interior padding. (It is important to note, however, that a small amount of wear and tear in the foam/padding is considered normal.)
- The leather upholstery is covered for 1 year. This includes all buttons, zippers, and other details of the upholstery.
- The warranty begins upon purchase. Not that the warranty only applies if you purchase your Ekornes furniture at a qualified dealer. As with all warranty policies, blatant misuse or the concealment of information may null the company’s obligation.
If you are covered by the warranty (or if you are unsure) you should contact Ekornes before taking any further action.
Seeking a repair specialist
If you are not covered by the warranty, it is still a good idea to contact your local Ekornes dealer, as they will be able to put you in contact with a certified Ekornes repair specialist.
